The 1982 Milwaukee Brewers are the definition of a powerhouse line up. The sweet-swinging Brewers featured Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, Jim Gantner, Ben Oglivie and Cecil Cooper, a group that powered a line up that led the Major Leagues in home runs, runs batted in, runs scored total bases and slugging percentage. After swinging past the California Angles in the ALCS, the Brewers faced the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. Although the Brewers would eventually lose a dramatic seven game series, they made Milwaukee proud by winning the city's only American League Championship.
