The 2005 college football season was a special season down in Austin Texas. Led by legendary head coach Mack Brown, the Longhorns football team earned its second Big 12 title (on top of an incredible 25 Southwestern Conference Championships) after an undefeated regular season in which they scored an NCAA record 652 points. They went on to face the Trojans of Southern California in the Rose Bowl, winning 41-38, prevailing in one of the greatest college football games ever played. This loaded squad included 24 players to play professionally in the National Football League. We honor this team and Texas legends Vince Young, Jamaal Charles, Billy Pittman, Limas Sweed and Micheal Griffin.
