THE 2002 college football season was a special season in Columbus, Ohio. Led by legendary head coach Jim Tressel, the Buckeyes made history with its undefeated 14-0 season. After beating 12th ranked Michigan Wolverines in the horseshoe, the Buckeyes took on the Miami Hurricanes in the Fiesta Bowl, prevailing in a double overtime classic 31-24. Led by Craig Krenzel, Maurice Clarett, Micheal Jenkins, AJ Hawk, Mike Doss and Chris Gamble, the '02 Buckeyes earned their first Championship in football since 1968.
